Brigham Exploration Company engages in the
exploration, development, and production of oil
and natural gas in the United States. It owns
property interests in the Onshore Gulf Coast
consisting of the Vicksburg trend in Brooks
County, Texas; the Frio trend in and around
Matagorda County, Texas; and joint venture
interests in the Miocene and Upper Oligocene
trends in Southern Louisiana. The company also
holds interest in the Hunton Trend in the
Anadarko Basin located in the Texas Panhandle
and western Oklahoma; the Powder River Basin and
Williston Basin in the Rocky Mountains; and the
Permian Basin in west Texas. As of December 31,
2007, its proved reserves comprised 140.2
billion cubic feet of natural gas equivalents.
The company sells its oil and natural gas to
intrastate pipeline purchasers, operators of
processing plants, and marketing companies.

headquartered in Austin, Texas. |
